Ex-Flex Sleeves

Clevaflex Ex-Flex™ Sleeves are convoluted, multi-ply sleeves using two layers of mechanically overlapped aluminum foil bonded together with a thermosetting adhesive.
Ex-Flex Sleeves have dual functionality:
Thermal Protection – Ex-Flex Sleeves can retain heat as an insulator to prevent excessive radiant heat from damaging surrounding components.
Heat Shielding – Ex-Flex can also protect components from other heat sources with its black aluminum exterior finish and new wall design.
The new proprietary design and manufacturing process enables the Ex-Flex Sleeve to be lightweight and crush-resistant, yet capable of being precisely bent to contour pre-bent tubing designs.
A cost-effective alternative to traditional heat shields, Ex-Flex Sleeves have a highly engineered appearance using black aluminum. They allow for custom ends (slits, slots or notches) to improve thermal protection and simplify installation. Ex-Flex Sleeves are available in diameter sizes from 12 mm to 76 mm.
